Fashion Month - work with what you have got ;)

Hey girlies!!

Fashion month ey?? im excited about it to be speaking about this subject i have SO MUCH to share :).

Today i would like to speak about working with what you have got, i encountered this today, i do not have a picture but i will post it when i do of what i wore.

So basically i had a dress that was size 12 and i am size 8 (whaaaaaat?!) yhhh!.
The bottom fit fine but the top...well it was BIG looool.

Do you sometimes find that you have clothes that are too big, too short, too tight etc? and you dont know what to do? improvise! work with what you have! wear that short dress top over tight trousers to cover up the tightness and make an outfit, wear a vest under that top that is low cut, you can make so many NEW styles just by using your imagination and what you have.

So how did i improvise with this dress? bare in mind i was dressing for work..

I put a white shirt under my dress pulled the dress down so the neck line was really low, wore black heels and added a necklace, it turned out pretty good! and i even received compliments!

So next time you are stuck for an outfit, or the clothes dont quite fit, see what you can add to make the outfit even more, limits are ENDLESS when you use your imagination :)

Fashion..

Where do I really start with Fashion? It is one of the most controversial subject to talk about - especially when it comes to feeling comfortable in our skin as women. It points out our flaws, our insecurites about the way we look and also it makes us desire something we will never have! However I LOVE the thrill of putting an outfit together. So every monday I will be giving pointers of how to make an outfit look worth more than it is and help you to be spontaneous to create an outfit even in a rush! Let's start already...The first tip that I am going to give is called 'Don't be shy - Accessorise!' In this case I mean go all out! Accessorise your outfit by adding something different to it! Do not be afraid to go all out - especially when it comes to buying accessories... For example: Primark - the accessories section is perfect! It is cheap, very chic and you can buy more than one of the same thing. I love accessories, I think they make the outfit. Wearing a plain dress, skirt and top with nice bright earrings and a belt!
